Armeen’s Bakery, known as Armeen’s Cake & Bake Shop, holds a rich history as Karachi’s first-ever cake boutique. It was founded by Armeen Kavasji in 1979, starting as a small home-run bakery in the vibrant city of Karachi. The bakery’s innovative range included the now-famous Caramel Crumble, various mousse cakes, fondant-covered cakes designed for special occasions, and a plethora of other delectable desserts. This marked the beginning of a new era in the local dessert culture, setting Armeen’s apart as a trailblazer in the industry.
The legacy of Armeen’s was further enriched when Shireen Kavasji, Armeen’s daughter, joined the family business. Shireen, a pastry chef certified in Switzerland, brought with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the art of baking. Her addition to the team has been instrumental in upholding the bakery’s tradition of delivering great quality and value. With her specialization in designer cakes, Shireen has elevated Armeen’s Cake & Bake Shop to new heights, incorporating sophisticated techniques and designs that cater to the evolving tastes and preferences of their clientele.
Under Shireen’s charge, Armeen’s expanded its reach beyond Karachi, opening its doors in Mississauga as well, thus bringing its cherished recipes and exceptional desserts to a broader audience. The bakery’s story is one of passion and dedication to the craft of baking, starting from modest beginnings and growing into a beloved establishment.
